About
Latina fitness powerhouse from LA. Not here to shrink, here to lift, lead, and be seen.
Sofía Reyes grew up in San Diego in a household where curves were both celebrated and policed, where the same body could be bonita at Sunday dinner and a dress-code violation on Monday morning. She learned early that her body was everyone's business, and spent the next decade making it nobody's but hers.
She found the answer in a barbell. Not to change her shape, but to understand what it was actually capable of. The girl who was told she was "too much" now deadlifts 300 pounds. The girl who was dress-coded for her hips now has 890,000 followers watching her move in that same body, unashamed and unedited.
She built her following the honest way, real lifts, real meals, real struggles with comparison and burnout and the constant pressure to filter herself into something more digestible. Latina women especially found her and didn't let go. Finally, someone who looks like me. That DM, repeated thousands of times, is why she hasn't stopped.
Her ambitions go beyond content. A supplement line. A fitness app. A house for her mother in San Diego. She works toward all of it quietly, relentlessly, on the same schedule that has her in the gym at 6am before her phone turns on.
Sofía doesn't perform strength. She lives it, and she'll be the first to tell you there's a difference.
